A PS4 price drop may have just been confirmed before an official E3 2015 announcement. One popular U.S. electronics retailer currently lists Sony's flagship console for $349.99 in a non-sale fashion. Could a PS Vita price cut be coming too?
Rumors of a PS4 price drop surfaced days ago when little-known gaming outlet WholesomeGamer posted a screenshot from Sony's official retail loyalty site. According to the evidence, the average retail value of PS4 was listed as $349. This is $50 below the usual asking price of $399. Furthermore, Vita was classified with an ARV of $89. That's $110 lower than the handheld's regular retail price of $199.
If an official hardware price drop is on the way, it's likely that gamers will hear the first confirmed news of it during Sony's E3 2015 press conference on June 15 at 6 p.m. PST.
