The Internet War Report 2013

Remember 10 years ago where everyone was using Internet Explorer? Yeah, I remember those times. They were terrible times indeed. And then along came Firefox, determined to change the way we navigate the internet. My history is probably all wrong but I clearly remembering not encountering Safari or Opera until late 2000s.

But then, in 2008, Google Chrome was released. This changed the whole "IE vs FF" rage that was going around the internet. Chrome boasted fast loading speeds like never before and it quickly gained momentum over the years because of it's frequent updates which included new features that other browsers took longer to implement.

In the year 2013, Chrome has managed to surpass Internet Explorer in usage share on non-mobile platforms to take up to 43% of all browsers used. This is a milestone considering Internet Explorer was the top dog back then.
