Easily install Minecraft on Ubuntu

Installing Minecraft on Ubuntu just got easier thanks to 'Minecraft Installer', an unofficial tool made by Cody Garver and Cassidy James. With this tool, installing Minecraft is a total cinch although the tool doesn't have many features found in the popular 'Mini Minecraft Launcher' tool.

However with its lack of advanced features, it makes up with it's ease of use. Just install, open, log-in and you're on! It even comes with a handy Unity Quicklist!

Minecraft Installer fetches all of the core files from Mojang’s servers so you don’t need to worry about getting anything dodgy; everything is above-board, legal, and wrapped in convenience.

To download/install:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:minecraft-installer-peeps/minecraft-installer
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install minecraft-installer
