Anime Review: Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! is a wonderful anime about our imaginative and childish sides clashing with our reality. The anime dives deep into human nature, emotions and psychological influences that affect social behavior.

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!Synopsis:

Yuuta Togashi suffered from chuunibyou while he was in middle school. When he graduated, he put that dark history behind him and forgot about it... or he was supposed to. High school was smooth sailing and full of enjoyment—until the unavoidable, sad event occurs. The event that locks Yuuta into a contract with Rikka Takanashi and disrupts his desperately ordinary life.

Human behavior is such a complex yet fragile thing. The various influences around us can easily affect our thinking and actions. The anime is basically about a boy named Yuuta Togashi that suffered from Eight Grader Syndrome whilst he was in middle school. After entering high school, he decides to put that behind him and to become an ordinary teenager. However, Yuuta encounters Rikka Takanashi which has the same syndrome and disruots his ordinary life. The story is quite entertaining, engaging and full of surprises. You definitely will not get bored.

The art was quite good and I loved the imaginary scenes which played out nicely with full effects. The backgrounds were also quite highly detailed and the characters looked superb. There really isn't nothing to complain about here.

The theme songs were quite good and suited the anime really well. Character voice acting was also perfect and suited the characters. There were also plenty of background music and accurate sound effects to further your enjoyment of the anime.

Yuuta is considered a pretty ordinary guy which a colorful past. He doesn't really show his emotions, but when he does, it is a sight to behold! He is constantly nagged and pushed by Rikka and her followers. Rikka on the other hand, is a really lively girl, full of imagination. She is rarely quiet or sensible and tend to go overboard with many things.

Overall, I enjoyed the anime a lot. From this, you can learn so much about human behavior and how emotions affect our thinking. The story was quite engaging and the characters were well developed.
