Track 2: Hisuteri
All of these cuts and bruises that will fade away,
I act as if they made me that much wiser.
Another night I sink into my lonely bed,
To shut out every sound as I scream inside my head.
And like a turning wheel,
The time keeps moving on.
The pain from yesterday is now just so long gone.
And as I fall into another aching sleep,
The crying voice I keep on hearing echoes deep.

It’s every shameful fall, every mistake I made.
These are the scars that have brought me where I am today.
Another false conception that I beg myself to escape reality.

The only lie I see is now inside of my head,
The only truth slips through my fingertips in the end.
Let me keep on dreaming
As I watch the days just pass me on by.

I turn another page of my biography,
And all the mysteries begin to fall in place.
I wonder why I wasted so much precious time,
I’d never find my life inside this cluttered room.
I’m letting go today.

They tried to measure the depths of all the scars that we have,
And tried to prove to us that life could be so much more.
But if you’d only stop and take a look around you know we’re all the same.
And as I keep repeating all the days in my head,
It’s like an endless movie that has no happy end.
But the scene goes on without an answer,
And I will cry.

Anime Review: Kamisama no Memochou

With many similarities to Gosick, Kamisama no Memochou aims to capture the audience's attention by using a cute detective along with a independent care-free boy with a task to solve mysteries. Yet, Gosick executes the story much better than this.

Synopsis:
Narumi Fujishima is a plain high school boy, who has been isolated in class. His classmate, Ayaka Shinozaki, invites Narumi to the gardening club and introduces a hikikomori detective named Alice to him.

Alice hires Narumi as an assistant to solve mysterious cases.

Review:
If you have watched Gosick before, then this has many similarities in character profiling and mysterious cases set in a modern world rather than an early 1900s one.  Hence, the 'magic' experienced in Gosick is pretty much lost here. Rather, we get a lonely guy that somehow manages to find himself stuck in a group of 'NEETs' with weird personalities that solves mysterious cases. The main detective work obviously is done by Narumi himself whilst Alice just stays in her room all day giving orders and solving cases. Since the anime is relatively short, not many cases are presented. Although some cases are quite intriguing most cases presented were either predictable or rather generic. In the end, it really comes down to how naive you are and if you are the analytical viewer type.

The art was well illustrated similar to Gosick but less bright and with less texture to the environments. I am comparing this to Gosick because I felt it was necessary to point out the major differences between the two anime. Gosick had better art and more locations but somehow Kamisama no Memochou gave an entirely different feel. Oh wait, maybe I was impressed by Alice's room full of monitors. Now THAT is cool. (Watch it and find out!)

Voice acting was perfect like your AAA title anime. No complaints here. The background music complemented the anime well with the use of nice dramatic opening and closing theme songs. I liked it very much that I also downloaded them onto my Android and that doesn't happen often.

Characters were pretty average looking with the exception of Alice obviously. Why is she always in cute clothes with long hair and chibi smiles? Oh wait. Is this a loli anime? Anyhow, the other characters were rather generic like your everyday slice of life anime. Moving on from the NEET group, the 'Fourth' has some nice hair and a cool attitude though. Ok, so overall rather not generic, but you understand what I'm trying to say. So in the end, I did not feel that much of a strong connection with any of the characters. Although, I did get emotional at one time when -- happened.

Overall, I can't say I loved this anime or that I hated it. It was decently entertaining with some nice mysterious and interesting characters. If you loved Gosick you will enjoy this anime. Of course, you will definitely think Gosick is way better. Otherwise, if you are interested in the detective, thriller genre then this is one anime you should not miss.

STORY: 6
Decent with some nice cases to solve. Should have been much longer for better character development.

ART: 7
The environment was nice as always with pretty much all recently released anime. The characters lacked a bit of 'depth' however the fights did look good.

SOUND: 7
Catchy theme songs that you should definitely listen to. Voice acting was of high standard. Loved the jokes though.

CHARACTER:6
Some characters were generic others were cool and the rest was hilarious.

ENJOYMENT: 6
I was slightly disappointed at the lack of detailed development of the characters. Otherwise, the story was entertaining and the mysteries were good.

OVERALL: 6
I think it wasn't too bad of a story. However, I felt much detail was lacking and the characters were not developed enough. It was just all a rush right from the start.

Android App Spotlight: GO Launcher EX

GO Launcher EX

If you own an Android device, then you have most likely encountered many different 'home launcher' apps before, specifically the popular ones such as 'ADW.Launcher EX' and 'LauncherPro'. I have been testing and trying many different home launcher apps and the one I find the most easiest and fastest to use is GO Launcher EX. Let me explain a few points for you.

Description:
Extended version of GO Launcher, one of the most popular home application.

=About GO Launcher=
GO Launcher is the most popular home app in Android Market. It allows users to customize home screen, change themes, use smooth transition animation as well as various widgets and screen locks. It brings you a fresh and extraordinary mobile operation experience.

=Features=
- Thousands of personalized themes
- Various widgets and screen locks (weather, switcher, calendar…)
- Extremely smooth transition animation
- Smooth flipping operation
- User-defined folder to easily categorize apps
Many options in preferences to help you customize you phone!

Speed and Stability
GO Launcher EX is one of the fastest launchers out there that I have encountered. It is on par compared with 'ADW.Launcher EX' and 'LauncherPro'. In my time using it, rarely have I seen it lag or force close.

Customizable
GO Launcher EX certainly takes the award of being the most customizable launcher on the Android platform. It allows you to change and customize your own themes as well as change the background, edit the dock bar, change the icons' looks as well as giving your home screens many different animation effects. This is truly one powerful launcher. In the Play Store, you will find thousands of custom made themes just ready to be downloaded.

Support
You may not know it, GO Launcher EX has an extensive development team backing the project. Thus, many of your feature requests and bug reports gets addressed fairly quickly. The frequent updates just keep rolling in, which is a good thing. Since the start of the app craze, many users just love updating their apps. Perhaps its the feeling of finding out new features or getting some bugs squashed.

Cost
The 'Go Dev Team' has been working pretty hard in providing surprisingly a whole range of apps for the Android platform. What is more surprisingly is that all the apps are free in the Play Store. Of course, there are some paid themes which you can buy to support the development team.
