Nanoir Lyrics Track 1 - magenta

For my own personal interests (i.e. because I want to do covers of these songs some time in the future) I have (and will) transcribed the lyrics to the songs in Nano's album Nanoir.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of these songs or lyrics. All credits goes to Nano and various music producers. Also, there may be incorrect transcriptions of the lyrics since I transcribed these songs all by ear, so use at own risk.

Track 01: magenta

Remember again! (oh-oh-oh x16)

Inside a world of broken words,
You cannot hide.
You tried to find the reasons why
As days collide.
The seconds keep on passing
Without a sound you turn around.
And as you walk away
I call to you.

Don’t you let go.
Take a look around you are not alone.
You’d always stop and close your eyes, find the answers.
When you feel like the world is falling in,
And you can’t seem to find a way back in,
Don’t run.
Just hear these words and remember again.

Outside, you’re trembling as you stand in falling rain,
You’ve tried to find where you belong.
As you drown the pain,
You hear the voices crying inside a world of monochrome.
But the eyes are bleeding tears of magenta.

Don’t you let go.
Take another breath when you’re lost again.
You’d only break the walls and then find the courage (find the courage).
When you feel like the world is falling in,
And you can’t seem to find a way back in,
Don’t cry.
Just hear these words and remember again.

Another silent prayer fades as the night slips past.
I tried to reach out to the light through the glass as it shatters.

Don’t you let go.
Take a look around, you are not alone.
You’d always stop and close your eyes, find the answers.
When you feel like the world is falling in,
And you can’t seem to find a way back in,
Don’t run.
Just hear these words and remember.

Don’t you let go.
Take another breath when you’re lost again
You’d only break the walls and then find the courage.
When you feel like the world is falling in,
And you can’t seem to find a way back in,
Don’t run.
Just hear these words and remember again.

Another Instagram Update

Well that was fast. Another Instagram update has been released. After finally being released for Android Instagram understandably had some bugs to squash.  Later that day Version 1.0.1 fixed compatibility with certain cameras (it notably did NOT fix compatibility with the HTC One X).  A little over 24 hours since that update hit we have another update.  This time the changelog is a little more specific, though, which is good.  It means that the developers are paying attention to bug reports and are working quickly to fix them.  The HTC One X, though, is still not supported.  Maybe they haven't received enough bug reports about it yet.  Show your support for #teamandroid and be sure to hit the forums to share your Instagram username.

Augmented Reality Glasses - A Reality?

Google has unveiled its designs for "augmented reality glasses", which layer emails, video chat, Google searches and GPS directions over the wearer's eyes.

The glasses, which are voice-controlled, are a product of the Google X blue-sky ideas lab. As currently designed, they have a horizontal frame that rests on a wearer's nose, with a wider strip of computer and a little clear display on the right side. The glasses don't cover the whole eye; it seems like the wearer has to look up to engage with the display.

Google put out a video of how the prototype works. In it the wearer gets directions, takes pictures and conducts video chats all through his glasses.

Google said: "We think technology should work for you - to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t.

"We're sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do."

So what do you think? A reality or just a dream for now?

Anime Review: Ga-Rei:Zero

Ga-Rei: Zero is the prequel to its manga successor giving fans a back story that leads into the manga series. Here we see the beginning unfold and the mysteries explained. This anime is not for the faint-hearted as it is one big mess.

Ga-Rei: ZeroSynopsis:
"Will you kill someone you love because of love?"

The Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Supernatural Disaster Prevention Office. They are the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions...

Review:
This can be considered as one psychological thriller anime as it delves into the mysterious of the mind and how one thought can change a person's life. Mixed in with some monsters into the story adn you get Ga-Rei: Zero. The story is slightly generic as it focuses on the main character and her mission to save her friend. Besides that, the first episode was a complete red herring that seems to have confused many people when they first watch it. Which in turn leads to a retelling of the same event from many different perspectives. The story overall was not bad, but it wasn't excellently told.

The art was well illustrated with nice environments and fluid animations. The characters looked great and the battle scenes were thrilling. It was nice to see some variety in monsters and some nice futuristic warfare from the Defence group.

The voice acting was on above average but nothing much to complain about here. The sound effects were great though for each and every fight scene.

Here comes the interesting part. Characters. They are not what they seems. Basically, it is one big mess and misunderstanding between the characters relationships. Somehow they just don't understand each other, and when its too late, everything falls into one big piece. Hence the opening question, "Will you kill someone you love because of love?" is answered in the final episodes of the anime. After going through all that, you will feel some pity for the main character as she struggles to free her friend from the evilness in the world.

Overall, the anime was enjoyable and dramatic at the same time. It was expected that the ending would happen so it was a less of an impact on me. However, the structure of the story was well told so I still felt some pity for the main character. If you enjoy psychological thrillers with mystery and suspense then this anime is for you.
